Nokero and Icosa Magazine have a special connection to the community of Tafert, Morocco. While some communities in Morocco can afford to purchase Nokero solar light bulbs, the Tafert community cannot. They currently are not serviced for electricity or running water. Most of the region is used to extract resources, which has provided roads some distance away from the community, about 5 kilometers away from Tafert.

These bulbs will be sent to Morocco, and a representative from ICOSA Magazine will visit the area in January/February of 2012 to visit Tafert, deliver bulbs, and report on the results of the project.
